This demonstration will show artists how to use non-toxic epoxy resin to cover and make artwork. Alison will demonstrate how to apply the high gloss clear coat resin on a finished acrylic canvas piece. She will also show how to mix the resin with fluid acrylics for an acrylic pour on either canvas or wood panel. There are no VOC's or fumes associated with this resin. Alison will also present an overview of safe-handling methods. Participants will leave class more confident to use resin in their art work and how resin can really make your art work pop!
Alison Thomas is a mixed media glass artist. She has covered over 250 pieces of art with resin. Her focus is on using inclusions such as glass with the resin and acrylic pours on canvas and wood panels.
Attendance is limited to 20 participants; please sign up early.
