Drawing with Pen and Ink Workshop with Tricia H. Love

This 2 day workshop will focus on various pen and ink techniques, such as line work, stippling, cross hatching, colored inks and adding watercolor to a pen and ink drawing. Tricia will demonstrate these techniques and students will follow along on projects. Subject matter will be fluffy animals, not so fluffy animals, such as turtles, old barns and fences, and a few surprises. All drawing levels welcome.

Tricia is an award-winning artist and teacher (children and adults) who has juried into major art shows for more than 30 years, including the NM Arts and Crafts Fair, Weems Artfest, Masterworks and the NM State Fair Gallery.

Tricia has a BFA degree from the University of New Mexico. She studied classical drawing and painting in Germany, and at the other end of the spectrum she has studied commercial art, illustration and design. She is a signature member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society and her drawings and paintings can be seen at Nob Hill Art Gallery in Albuquerque.
