DONORS
AND DONATIONS
The
New Mexico Art League is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit association of artists
and art lovers established in 1929 by the Fine Arts instructors
and students of the University of New Mexico.
Donations
are tax-deductible and are the primary source of funding to sustain
the League's core goal of providing Fine Arts instruction for New
Mexico.
NMAL
has no paid employees, and no member of the Board receives compensation
of any kind. All of our active members donate their time.
Building
and grounds renovations:
This
is a grassroots revival and every member of the Board and many of
our artists and instructors have worked to fulfill the goals:
painting walls and ceilings, rebuilding, and remodeling. Donations
for the most part go to materials, not to laborwhich is donated
by our members. Only tasks requiring special licenses, such as plumbing
and electrical have been contracted to dateand those too have
been donated in part with materials provided at cost, and some or
all labor costs as well.
We
invite you to join us in rebuilding the New Mexico Art League through
your donations of cash, materials, or in-kind services.
