This
class is a continuation of beginning drawing and learning to "see"
using lessons from Betty Edward's book, "Drawing on the Right
Side of the Brain" Each day there will also be a lesson on
the use of watercolor, basic application of paint to paper, mixing
washes, and planning a painting. Stretching paper and plein aire
painting will also be covered.
About
the instructor:
My
love of watercolor began early on, and this medium is still my first
choice. I get excited about the rich, juicy effects that only watercolor
can give, and I love teaching this to someone who has no experience
but learns to play with watercolor-it is one of the most rewarding
experiences to observe and teach.
Drawing
also has its "aha" moments, and the untrained person is
actually extremely teachable and benefits noticeably from structured
drawing lessons. This is a great personal growth experience.
