self-expression of each student while providing the tried and tested
methodologies of plein air painting. Students of all skill levels
are welcome.

About
the instructor:
Mr.
Griffin began oil painting 40 years ago. He holds a BFA in Painting
from Texas Tech University and a MM from the School of Music, also
at Texas Tech. He is currently a member of the Rocky Mountain Plein
Air Painters and a signature member of the Oil Painters of America.
He also teaches art and music at Rio Grande Enrichment Studies,
a mid-high and high school tutorial program in Albuquerque. "I
encourage artists to avoid "isms" in art and life, and
to beware of "false-identifications" in their creative
expressions.
